The New Tax Act and What It Means for You

The bill to extend the Bush tax cuts was passed by Congress and should be signed by President Obama later today.

The Tax Relief Unemployment Insurance Reauthorization and Job Creation Act of 2010 extends many previous provisions and also adds some new items.  I have addressed these issues on my Life Worth Planning blog.  You can read the summary at this link.

At Kinkelaar & Associates, we recognize that containing expenses is critical to long-term financial success, and taxes can be a significant expense.  Therefore, we strongly suggest you look at how the new tax laws impact your situation and caution you to understand how some provisions are set to go away in two years.

If you want to schedule an appointment to discuss this  please give me a call at 800-716-0674 or send me a message and we can arrange a meeting at Kinkelaar & Associates’ Chicago or Akron office.
